What is a Cancer Care Doula?
A Cancer Care Doula empowers, supports, educates, and helps to navigate the medical system to eliminate barriers to care.
Meet Danelle
No one understands the cancer journey like someone with lived experience.
As a Cancer Care Doula, unlike healthcare professionals, I focus on offering emotional support, with the ultimate goal of ensuring you feel safe, heard, well-informed, and empowered.
Additionally, I extend support to your family, friends and caregiver, recognizing that a cancer diagnosis affects everyone involved.
Drawing from my own experience as a cancer patient for the over 10 years, I am dedicated to helping you navigate this challenging journey. I provide tips, tools, and resources to help you manage the ups and downs that cancer brings.
Together, we will empower you to face the challenges of cancer with resilience, strength and hope.
Bit by bit, step by step, we're going to get through this.

What people are saying...
"Danelle’s strength and positivity through her own cancer journey is inspiring, and it carries through into the way in which she helps others. She was a beacon of light and hope for me during a very dark time and I am eternally grateful to her. Danelle inspires others to stay positive. Her ability to help those of us going though our cancer journey to pause, re-set, and move forward without feeling weighted down by fear, is invaluable!!" – Jennifer, Diagnosed 2019
